About Me: David Gross is currently in his fifth year at the helm of Major League Lacrosse and during his tenure he has created a truly national footprint for the league. MLL concluded its sixth season by adding teams in four major markets (Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco) in 2006.
Gross first joined the League as Chief Operating Officer in December of 2003, and in that capacity helped grow attendance by 34 percent in 2004. In 2005, attendance jumped another 13 percent as the League averaged 4, 608 per game. In 2006, the Denver Outlaws set what was then a League record for attendance for a single game (15, 981) and also averaged an MLL record 11, 634 per game. Denver has continued to have success in that areas, setting League single game attendance records in 2007 (19, 793) and most recently on July 4, 2008 (20, 116).
